The Long Rest began with a simple observation: the realm is excellent at finding heroes and remarkably poor at helping them live afterwards.

We made a place where former adventurers can live well without pretending the past never happened. Display the sword. Tell the story. Keep the suspiciously ornate key. Nobody here will ask you to use any of them before breakfast.

The Lamplight story

A light carried home.

Lamplight traces its beginning to one final expedition. Its founders followed a lantern beyond the mapped roads, overcame those who had made the sanctuary dangerous and broke the chains they found there. They returned with a blessing—and a conviction that restoration should not be reserved for the lucky few.
